The Heal Flip

The Heal Flip in my opinion is easier than the kick flip. If you find pop shove-its easy, then this trick will be easy for you to learn. I don't need to explain much because this video I am about to show you explains alot, but I do want you to know this. When you do a Heal Flip, make sure you lean forward. That really helps me when I am practicing the Heal Flip.

So you think you know how to bail?

This is how you bail correctly. When doing a trick in a bowl, or any type of ramp. You want to be wearing knee pads, especially in a bowl. Because if you make a mistake and fall, the chances of you making it out of that without a scratch is almost zero. You want to put your legs, like this kid is doing, under your butt. Put your hands up so that you don't accidentally land on them. If you do that, you should just slid down. It doesn't hurt if you are wearing knee pads.
If you are doing more advanced tricks, then you will need to do more than just slide. If you are planning on grinding, you need to find a place that if it were to go wrong, you will be able to get out of it safely. Ride the rail, and if you feel to wobbly or can't control your board? Then try to just simply hop off. Land on your feet, and go pick up your board.If you don't do that, then this might happen:

The best Skate brands

Now, there are a lot of skateboarding brands. But there are some really good ones, and some really bad ones. There are skateboard brands and skate wear. I will start with the skateboard brands.

I will start with the best brands to get, starting with nine. There several others but I will go by the ones I have labeled. The least one you want to get out of these nine is the Flip. Flip Skateboards have a very cool design  but are not made very well. The wood they get for their boards is whatever they can find. Now the second to least good one you would get is Element. Element has great clothing and skateboard accessories, but their board production is lousy. The seventh one you would want to get is Zero. Zero is one of those kinds of board brands that you could get if you want to. I personally don't like their work. My friend has one though, and it has been very good to him. The sixth brand you would want is Enjoy. Enjoy is a good brand, very durable and can take quite a bit of damage. Their image is a panda bear, those are awesome to the kind of skater who is a chill jazz type of skater. The fifth brand you want to get is Blind. Blind has one of the coolest designs I have ever seen. They have the Grim Reaper next to their logo which says "Blind." If you look lower, there is a picture of one of their logos. Now the fourth is Bones. Bones has the best wheels and the best bearings. But their boards have a sort of, lack to it. They don't have the same logo as on the wheels and bearings which is sad. The third one you will want is Baker. Baker has a nice vibe to their board designs. They have several types of designs, but my favorite is the one I have at the bottom of the page. The second one in the list is Plan B. Plan B is a very good quality board. They use oak wood rather than maple wood. And they own over 200 types of logo colors. they have been around for over 20 years! Now the best out of all these brands is Toy Machine. Toy Machine is the best kind of board brand to get. Their logo is a devil like creature. They have other creatures but that's their main one. Well that's all of the brands i know and love, hope you like them. Spring Hill gets a new skate park

My prayers have been answered! Spring Hill is getting a skate park. I have been wanting a skate park near my house for a while. When I heard that there is one coming to Walnut Street, I was so excited!

My birthday is in a couple weeks and I am going to get a new board. This is going to be my first stop with my new board. If any one is reading this that is a skater and lives near Spring Hill TN? I will be there quite often, and it would be great to have some one to skate with.

The Pop Shove-It

The Pop Shove-It is a very fun trick, and is one of my favorites. I am almost ready to start on the Pop Shove-It myself. The first things you need to know is how to spin the board. This allows you to spin the board while having your foot on the tail. To do that, you need to scoop the back of the board. Now if you've got that done, you can work on the pop part. For that part, you need to push on the tail with all your might.  Next you slip your front foot off and then back on. This trick is one of those more practice less talking kind of trick. It is very simple to learn, and accomplish. I can't wait to get started on mine,

The Manual

The Manual is a huge balance instructor. You need balance in order for this trick to work. If you already have good balance, than this will be a cinch. You first need to practice this trick in another crack. When you've got a crack, put your back wheels in the crack. now push your tail down, and keep your tail from touching the ground. balance your weight out and try and hold your position for as long as you can. That's a stationary Manual. Now after you've mastered that, (Which will probably take you a couple days to master) go to a long stretch of road. Go as fast as you can, and then do the Manual. Its an easy trick to learn, but its a matter of practicing.
